These general conditions of contract constitute a contract of the client with the Casa Rural Cal Cavale through its website www.cal-cavale.cat for the reservation of the accommodation. Please read these general conditions carefully and make sure you understand their content before making the reservation. These conditions apply to all reservations made as well as to all those for whom such reservation is made.

RESERVATIONS AND CONFIRMATION

Reservations and requests for information can be made by phone, e-mail or through the contact form. No reservation will be binding until the client has accepted the offer and paid the amount of the deposit as detailed in the following point.

At the time of formalizing the reservation, a deposit of 20% of the total amount will be paid directly on the web through our online payment service provider (Stripe). In the event that for any reason the payment of the reservation cannot be completed, it will be blocked for a period of 24 hours, in which you must contact us by the aforementioned means so that we can indicate how to proceed in order to confirm the reservation. Otherwise, the reserved dates will be free again after 24 hours.

The payment of the rest of the total amount of the reservation (80%) must be paid through our website by the method indicated above at least 7 days before the start of the stay with the data and instructions that will be provided to the email indicated by you at the time of making the reservation or by the email that will be sent to you 7 days before the start of your stay.

Please note that the reservation will not be confirmed until the customer has received a confirmation email. In case of not receiving this email you must contact us by the means indicated above.

RATES

• Prices do not include VAT. This will be added in the breakdown at the time of booking.
• The prices of the accommodation will be those that appear on the page.

Services included:

• The accommodation and what is strictly negotiated with the establishment
• Applicable fees or taxes

Services not included:

• Transfers/assistance to the house or other similar
• Excursions or optional visits
• Additional charges to the room, meals, activities or services not listed on the booking confirmation.

MINIMUM STAY

The minimum stay is two nights except for long weekends, holidays and special dates, which can increase the number of minimum nights.

CHILDREN AND BABIES

When making the reservation and in order to apply the corresponding rate, the total number of people both adults and children who occupy a place / bed will be indicated.
Under no circumstances will more people be allowed than those established according to the maximum number mentioned in the booking confirmation, including children. If the number of people exceeds the indicated capacity, the owner can demand an economic compensation proportional to the price per person and reserves the right of admission or cancellation of the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

100% of the amount of the reservation deposit will be refunded if the cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the date of entry.

No refund of the reservation will be made in another case.

Any cancellation, including force majeure, will be subject to our cancellation policy. In case of force majeure, before canceling the reservation, please contact us directly to try to find a mutually beneficial solution.

In the event that Casa Rural Cal Cavale cannot provide the client with the house he has booked for reasons of force majeure, the client will be informed as soon as possible to try to find an optimal solution for both parties. In case of not reaching an agreement, the full amount of the reservation deposit will be refunded.

All cancellations or changes must be made by email to the email address contacto@cal-cavale.cat. Cancellations or changes by phone will not be accepted.

Interruption of the stay: No refund or payment will be made in case of interrupting the stay in the accommodation.

INPUTS AND OUTPUTS

Check-in: 17:00 h.
Check-out: 12:00 h.

The house will be available from 17:00 h. Please be sure to let us know the approximate time of arrival and especially if it is scheduled for later than 22:00 h, so that we can plan the check-in and keep you informed about any delays or changes. The telephone number or email provided in the booking will be used in case we need to contact you.

On the day of departure, the house will be free at 12:00 h. however, if guests wish to enter or leave the house at different times, they can do so with prior agreement and as long as it will not be occupied by another client that same day.

If you need to leave later please ask at the time of check-in if this is possible. We will try to accommodate your request. Any departure after 20:00 hours will be subject to the entire price per night.

Please be sure to hand over ALL sets of keys before leaving.

EQUIPMENT

Prices include:

• Water, electricity and heating costs.
• Bed linen and towels for each occupant. Bed linen consists of sheets, blankets and duvet. Towels are bath and hands for each occupant.
• Fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave, and other small appliances, as well as crockery, glasses, cutlery, pans, pans, …)
• A complimentary pack of firewood and charcoal. If during the stay they need more, you can buy it at the gas station.

CLEANING

The rural house is cleaned before the arrival of each client. When leaving, the client is obliged to leave the rural house in reasonable conditions, with all the garbage disposed of correctly. Otherwise, you will be charged a cleaning fee of € 50.
For stays longer than 7 days, a weekly change of bed linen will be made.

80€ will be charged for cleaning.

ACTIVITIES

The contracting of scheduled activities and / or other services will be previously agreed in the confirmation of the reservation.

CLIENT-BEHAVIOR

The terms and conditions regarding riots, loud music and parties are very clear: ALL ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Guests staying at our Cottage should know that if loud voice and music are heard, or other guests complain, it can result in immediate eviction no matter the time of day or night.

The occupants will not be able to carry out annoying, unhealthy, harmful, dangerous or illicit activities in the rural house. Staying guests should know that if loud voice and music are heard excessively outside the home, or neighbors complain, it can result in immediate eviction no matter the time of day or night.

The client will be responsible for the correct and decent behavior of all the people who accompany him. In the event that that person, or any of the accompanying persons, does not behave in an adequate and responsible manner, the rural house will have the right to request the client and the people who accompany him to leave the rural house without the right of the latter to claim any type of compensation.

This also means the loss of the amount paid and the deposit.

HOUSE RULES

• Guests are responsible for keeping the house properly closed in their absence.
• Guests will not be able to carry out annoying, unhealthy, harmful, dangerous or illicit activities in the rural house.
• Visits are not allowed without the express consent of the owner.
• THE TIME OF SILENCE IS EVERY DAY FROM 23.00 PM to 10.00 We appreciate your collaboration in this matter and we hope you understand that these rules are necessary for coexistence in the rural house.
• The facilities will be kept in perfect use, each object in its original place, in case of any damage to the facilities this must be communicated to the owner.
• Guests must treat the house and its contents with respect and not subtract anything from it, they will be responsible for the damages caused.
• Please do not leave the heating on at an excessive temperature if you plan to spend the day outside the house or if it is your last day of stay. Moderate the use of heating. The same recommendations apply to air conditioning.
• Deposit the garbage in the containers for this purpose, do not leave it outside, animals could spread it.
• NEVER throw ash that may contain fire into the dumpster.
• It is totally forbidden to smoke inside the house. If it’s summer, pay attention to wildfires.
• We thank you for making responsible use of the energy of the house.
• Pets are welcome.
• Please take care of the house and respect the rest of others and in general towards the whole environment.
• Our rural house will appreciate any suggestion you can offer us to make your stay more pleasant.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

Country house Cal Cavale reserves the right to modify these general conditions at any time without the need for notification or prior notice, therefore, the provision of this service has a limited duration to the moment in which the user is connected to the website or to any of the services that are provided through it.

By making the reservation, you accept that you have read, understood and accepted these general conditions. If there is any element of these general conditions that you do not fully understand, or have any doubts or questions, please contact us.

In the event that you make the reservation for two or more people, the person making the reservation must be authorized to represent all those on behalf of those who have made the reservation, as well as accept responsibility for payments made on behalf of these persons, including cancellation fees or those derived from rectifications or modifications. Likewise, you must inform all those on whose behalf you have made the reservation, of the details of the reservation, as well as any other relevant information. Please ensure that all personal data provided during your booking is correct and truthful.

The user declares that he is of legal age, that is, he is at least 18 years old and has the necessary legal capacity to be bound by this agreement and to use this website in accordance with the General Conditions set forth herein, which he understands and understands in its entirety. If you are under 18 years of age, and you travel with adults but without your parents or legal guardians, they must assume the responsibility derived from the reservation, as well as all the obligations and expenses that derive from it.

These general conditions of contract will be regulated by Decree 75/2020, of August 4, on tourism in Catalonia and the parties will submit, in case of discrepancy, to the arbitration bodies of Catalonia.
