YOUR TERRACE TO THE PYRENEES
This open and cozy high-mountain house has a surface area of 180 m2 and is located at the highest point of the town, next to the old walls of the Castellbó castle.
Our essence
It is a stone house with high wooden ceilings, with an open living-dining room with an integrated kitchen and large windows that let in the air and light of the Pyrenees, and a terrace to contemplate the views.
In the integral rehabilitation and functioning of the house, it has been used to the maximum natural materials, wood in beams and ceilings, natural stone from the area in walls, wood in exterior and interior carpentry, slate in interior flooring and roof, as well as a heating system with biomass fuel (pellets).
Facilities
It has a capacity for 7 guests, with the possibility of using it for 3 more on a sofa bed, and you will find everything you need to have an unbeatable stay.
Due to the characteristics of the population, the house has a vertical development, being divided into three floors.
Living-dining room area, with sofas, sofa-beds, television and fireplace.
Kitchen and dining area, modern kitchen equipped with microwave oven (2 in 1), refrigerator, induction hob, dishwasher and coffee maker. Directly opposite dining table for six-eight people.
These spaces connect directly with the terrace. Its large glass surface ensures a cheerful and bright atmosphere.
The instructions for use of the different devices are available to the guest, however the appropriate guidance will be provided personally.
A small portable barbecue is available, for use on the terrace, and immediate connection with the indoor dining table, if desired, or with the use of an outdoor table and chairs.
The night area is located on this floor.
There are a total of three bedrooms. The main one with a double bed, bathroom en suite, fitted wardrobes and a large dressing area.
The second with a double bed and cabinets.
Finally a third with two single beds, the ideal size for children, (0.80 x 1.90).

There is the hall and the facilities room and the washing machine and laundry area.
It is a warm and welcoming space, used and oriented to provide the best stay to the guest.
And although it does not have a private garden, being immersed in nature, surrounded by open spaces to enjoy, with few people, there is not the slightest impediment to enjoying it.

- Fully equipped kitchen in terms of crockery and cutlery for ten people.
- Washing machine, sink, table and iron. Bathroom dryer.
- Heating by biomass boiler, digital thermostat. The guest will be informed of its operating protocol, temperature graduation, pellet replacement, etc.
- It does not have air conditioning, because it is really not necessary.
- It does not have Wifi, perfect to disconnect, if you want the only existing sound, especially at night, will be the river.
We must emphasize that due to the characteristics of the town, to access the house there is a flight of external stairs after parking the car at the foot of the property. Parking is free, but you have to consider that being in the highest part of the town, and that the spaces that exist at the foot of the house are limited, they must be shared with the neighbors.
There is another access on flat foot, with a route next to the base of the old castle walls, and following the orography of the town, and whose beginning is somewhat further away.

- Departure time: 12:00 p.m.
- You can smoke on the terrace, but not inside the house.
- It is not allowed to exceed the contracted capacity or the overnight stay of other people outside the accommodation.
- It is forbidden to carry out annoying, unhealthy, harmful, dangerous or illegal activities.
- The establishment reserves the right of admission.
- The owner of the rural house is not responsible for the behavior and/or actions of the tenants.
